Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School senior Nikolas Bray was chosen as Student of the Month for September by faculty and peers. “Niki’s volunteer efforts in the community, and dedication to our school and school activities made him an easy choice,” said Principal David Morton.
Niki is the son of Mr. Randy Bray and Ms. Rosemarie Bray, both of Oklahoma City. He has a weighted GPA of 4.3 and unweighted GPA of 3.9. He is a two year member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society where he serves as the current President. He is a member of the Poetry Club, Spanish Club and was vice president of his junior class. Niki is Co-Founder and Co-President of the Yoga Club and is a member of Leadership Class X.
A member of the varsity football team for the last two years, Niki is also on the track team and soccer team. He also plays recreational soccer.
Volunteer opportunities include Sister BJ’s Pantry, Feed the Children, Corporate Challenge and the Dorothy Day Center. His employment consists of American Eagle Outfitters and an internship at Deep Fork Tree Farm.
Niki’s college choices are University of Oklahoma, Florida Institute of Technology and Cal State – Long Beach. He would like to major in Flight Training and Biology.
