Yukon High School pitcher Chad James is one of the best high school pitchers not only in Oklahoma but the whole country. He's committed to Oklahoma State but should be a high Major League draft pick.
The 6'3" left-handed pitcher was just named to the Rawlings All-American team. Chad James consistently throws a 90-93 and hit a 94 mph fastball. Projectable and young left-handers are always a hot commodity in the MLB draft and as a result, James should get plenty of buzz as the Draft draws near. He's big, physical and athletic with the chance to have a pretty good power aresenal from the left side. With some work, he could have a good three-pitch mix, and there's some upside there to get scouts excited. His command and stuff is a little inconsistent, but with plenty to work with teams that like high school arms might jump at the chance to take him early.
