Samantha Sikkink of John Marshall High School, Rochester, MN, Signs letter of Intent to Play for DMACC

Samantha Sikkink (second from left) of Rochester, MN signs a national letter of intent to play basketball at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).  Others taking part in the signing ceremony include:  John Marshall High School Girls Basketball Coach Terry Heiderscheit (left to right); Samantha Sikkink; Samantha’s dad, Randy Sikkink; and DMACC Women’s Head Basketball Coach Steve Krafcisin.

Sikkink was a First Team All Big 9 Conference selection for three consecutive years and was a unanimous selection in both her junior and senior years.  She was the John Marshall High School Winter Athlete of the Season and was named to the AAAA Minnesota Coaches All State Honorable Mention Team.  She scored more than 1,000 points in her high school career ad is only the third player in John Marshall High School history to do so.
