The Del City Eagles traveled to take on the Mustang Broncos in the Eskridge Auto High School Playbook Game of the Week. The Broncos defeated the Eagles with a second half comeback as they won the ballgame 41-24 behind Daniel Farrow's 4 touchdowns. In the Viewer's Choice Game of the Week, the Bridge Creek Bobcats defeated the Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex 44-0 as the Bobcats improved to 8-1 (6-0).

The Guthrie Bluejays surprised most of the high school football world as they advanced all the way to the semi-finals where they took on another suprise contender in the Bixby Spartans. The Spartans prevailed in this tight game 27-20 by stopping the Bluejays on downs to end the threat. Bixby's QB Kevin Lamb lead the Spartans in their win as he threw for over 260 yards and rushed for another 59 yards to go along with his 2 touchdowns.
The Bixby Spartans will take on the Carl Albert Titans in the Class 5A Championship game on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Boone Pickens Stadium.

After missing the past two games because of an injury, Heritage Hall Sophomore QB Sterling Shepard was excited to get back on the playing field in the 2nd week of playoffs. The Chargers signal caller acted like he never missed a game as he threw for 2 TDs and caught another score from backup QB Cooper Cloud. Behind Shepard's spectacular game, the Chargers beat Lindsay 48-8 to move on to the Quarterfinals where they must make the 3 hour bus ride to Pawhuska to take on the Huskies.

CATON HILL Caton Hill played basketball at Oklahoma from 1999-2004 finishing with over 16-hundred career points. After school Hill decided to follow in her father's footsteps and join the Army. The Ada native will serve as a flight doctor for the Army's 3rd infantry division, also known as "task force brawlers." Hill will be in Afghanistan for one year and says she believes playing for the Sooners helped prepare her for this experience. Hear more from the Cougar superstar right here.

This year's Heritage Hall offense has been centered around Sophomore RB Barry Sanders and the plan worked once again on Friday night when the Chargers defeated the Meeker Bulldogs 35-0 in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Chargers offense sputtered in the 1st half as they scored only 7 points (a Sanders TD run) but the offense exploded for 3 quick scores in the 3rd quarter and each drive ended the same way, with a Barry Sanders Touchdown.

The Heritage Hall Chargers were in a dog fight after the first half of their game against the Meeker Bulldogs as they had just a 7point lead. The Chargers exploded in the 3rd quarter with 28 points to quickly turn a one score difference into a seperation of 35 points. Heritage Hall was paced by Sophomore RB Barry Sanders who ran for 3 scores and scored on a screen pass as well. The Chargers move on to the 2nd round and will host the Lindsay Leopards

EDMOND SANTA FE vs. MOORE
A Thursday night contest at Wantland Stadium pitted 6A schools Edmond Santa Fe and Moore. The Wolves scored early and often in this one, quickly making the Lions play catch up. Senior Brian Mills had a big night, not only surpassing the 1,000-yard rushing mark, but also adding 2 touchdowns to help Santa Fe to a 34-14 victory. Check out the highlights from these two teams!

The Southmoore Sabercats defeated the Mustang Broncos 22-19 in the Eskridge Auto High School Playbook Game of the Week. The win earns the Sabercats their first district championship in its school's short history.

The Putnam City North Panthers defeated the Del City Eagles 34-7 as they pulled away from the Eagles in the 2nd half. With the victory, the Panthers qualified as the number four seed in District 6A-2 and advance to the playoffs to take on the Midwest City Bombers. Depsite a solid 7-3 record, the Del City Eagles did not qualify for post-season play as they were a victim of playing in one of the toughest districts in Oklahoma Football.

The Cashion Wildcats defeated the Wellston Tigers on Thursday night 39-6 to clinch the District A-2 Championship. The Wildcats jumped on the Tigers early with 2 touchdowns in the first quarter and had the game wrapped up by halftime as they led 32-0 at the break. The Wildcats continued their perfect season as they move to 9-0 (7-0) as the Tigers continued their struggling ways as they dropped to 1-8 (1-7)
